Vande Bharat Express: It has now become very easy to go to Ayodhya, the city of Lord Shri Ram, from Patna, the capital of Bihar. After the consecration of Ramlala, a large number of devotees are reaching Ayodhya. In such a situation, now the Railways has also geared up. In the east, three trains go to or pass through Patna to Ayodhya. But, now going to Ramnagari from Vande Bharat will be a pleasant journey in itself. Here, Spice Jet has also started air service to Ayodhya four days a week from this month. Four buses are also being operated. But to make the journey of the devotees easier, Railways has now decided to give the gift of Vande Bharat.
Vande will be able to travel from India to Ramnagari
To provide better facilities to the additional crowd of passengers and devotees on this route, Railways has decided to run Vande Bharat Express train on this route from next month. Two rakes of this train will reach Patna this month. Survey work for the operation of the train has also been completed. It is expected that Vande Bharat operations will also be started on this route before Holi.
Passengers will arrive two hours earlier
The journey from Vande Bharat to Ayodhya will be completed in 08 hours instead of 10. At present, passengers by express train complete the distance of 508 kilometers from Ayodhya to Lucknow station via Patna Junction, Arrah, DDU, Varanasi in 10 hours. Vande Bharat Express will go from Patna Junction to Lucknow via Arrah, Buxar, DDU, Jaunpur, Ambedkar Nagar, Ayodhya. Survey work regarding Danapur, DDU and Varanasi Railway Division routes has already been completed.
Actually, there is a plan to run Vande Bharat between Patna and Lucknow which will run via Ayodhya. For this, the rake of Lucknow-Patna Bande Bharat Express from the Rail Coach Factory has been allotted to the Railway Board. The board may soon issue train related notifications.
The fare to go to Ayodhya from Vande Bharat can be this much.
Currently, the fare from Patna to Ayodhya is Rs 1000 to Rs 1500 (depending on the class) by normal trains, Rs 800 to Rs 1000 by bus and around Rs 3000 by plane. If official sources of Railways are to be believed, traveling in executive class of Vande Bharat can cost Rs 2500 to 2800. However, the final decision regarding the fare has not been taken yet.
These trains are already running
At present, passengers use three trains to go from Patna to Ayodhya. Train number 13483 Farakka Express which departs from Patna at 4:55 am and reaches Ayodhya at 3:06 pm. It runs on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. The second train number-13237 Patna-Kota Express which departs from Patna at 11:45 am and reaches Ayodhya at 7:42 pm. It operates on Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday.
The third train number 12529 Patliputra-Lucknow Junction Express departs from Patliputra at 4:30 pm and reaches Gonda at 11:50 pm. The distance from here to Ayodhya is only 46 km. From here you can go to Ayodhya by bus, auto or cab.
