Vande Bharat Train: Before the Maha Kumbh, Varanasi will get the gift of another new Vande Bharat train. A route between Bengal and Prayagraj is possible via Varanasi. The operation of Vande Bharat between Gangasagar and Sangam will provide great convenience to the pilgrims. The rack of eight bogies of the new Vande Bharat is standing in the Gular yard of Cantt Railway Station.
This coach has been kept under the surveillance of RPF since August 4. According to railway officials, the operation of this new train will provide great convenience to the devotees going to Ganga Sagar for the Tarpan of their ancestors. A large number of people from UP, Bihar-Jharkhand go to Ganga Sagar. During the Maha Kumbh, the connection between Bengal and Sangam will also become easier through the new train.
This route is being tested by the Railway Board. The notification of this train is expected to come in the month of September itself. Currently, four Vande Bharat trains are running from Varanasi. Two Vande Bharat trains are running on the Varanasi-New Delhi route and one each on the Ranchi-Varanasi and Patna-Lucknow via Ayodhya route. This will be the fifth train on the Bengal-Varanasi route.
According to the officials of Northern Railway, many new trains will be started before Maha Kumbh. Under this, a new rack of Vande Bharat is ready but it has not been officially announced yet on which route it will be run. It is likely that it will be run on the Bengal-Varanasi route and this train will go till Prayagraj. All this is being done in view of Maha Kumbh.
This train will run from Varanasi in the morning and from Bengal at night.
According to railway officials, as per the information received so far, the new Vande Bharat train will depart from Varanasi in the morning. The train will depart from Bengal at night. The train will stop only at major stations in Bihar and Jharkhand. The train will also stop at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay station.
