Vande Bharat stopped suddenly, the train was pulled by tying it to a goods engine, this is the reason behind the problem | News India

Vande Bharat: The Vande Bharat Express on the down line of New Delhi-Howrah railway line stopped at signal number 514 between Bharthana-Samhon station at 9:15 am on Monday due to a technical fault in the engine.

Traffic on the down line was disrupted for about three and a half hours, due to which half a dozen trains were halted at the previous stations. Vande Bharat train was brought to the station by calling a goods train engine from Etawah. Here, the passengers also created a ruckus when they were sent by another train. The railways sent the passengers from Kanpur to Ayodhya by Vande Bharat and Lucknow Swarn Shatabdi Express. From there they were sent to Varanasi by a special train.

There was a technical fault in the panto
It was told that there was a technical fault in the panto supplying electricity to the engine of Vande Bharat, due to which the train stopped at signal number 514, four km away from Bharthana station. The technical team of Vande Bharat tried to fix it for a long time, but when it could not be fixed, Railway Control Tundla was informed. At around 11.45 am, Vande Bharat was pulled by the engine of a goods train and parked on the loop line platform number one of Bharthana station.

Passengers demonstrated on the railway track
Angry passengers protested on the railway track due to lack of arrangements to reach their destination and created a ruckus in the station master's cabin. CO Atul Pradhan, RPF in-charge Rajendra Pal Singh, GRP in-charge Shailesh Kumar Nigam, Bharthana police station in-charge Devendra Singh gave information to the passengers.

Passengers were sent to Kanpur by other trains. Due to which Vande Bharat Ayodhya Express was stopped at Bharthana, Etawah Kanpur Memo Passenger Ikdil, Lucknow Swarn Shatabdi, Anand Bihar-Denapur Summer Special, Muri Express, Howrah Kalka Netaji Express, Jodhpur Howrah Express were stopped at Etawah station.
