Vande Bharat Train Express: The schedule of Vande Bharat Express train running between Anand Vihar in Delhi and Dehradun in Uttarakhand has been changed. This change has been made for operational reasons. This change in Vande Bharat will come into effect from June 22, 2024. Train No. 22457/22458 Anand Vihar Terminal – Dehradun – Anand Vihar Terminal Vande Bharat Express currently runs six days a week. At present this train runs six days a week except Wednesday.
According to Deepak Kumar, PRO officer of Northern Railway, this decision has been taken for operational reasons. Vande Bharat train will be operated between Anand Vihar and Dehradun on Wednesday. Instead, Vande Bharat train will not operate between Anand Vihar-Dehradun on Thursday. Vande Bharat train will run the remaining six days of the week. The train will run on Wednesday also. This decision will be effective from June 22, 2024. It is known that the information has been issued by the Railways four months in advance, so that people do not face inconvenience.
The train will have only five stoppages between Delhi and Dehradun. These include Haridwar, Roorkee, Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar and Meerut. The maximum speed of the train will be 110 kilometers per hour. At the same time, the average speed has been fixed at 63:41.
Let us tell you that Vande Bharat train departs from Anand Vihar Terminal in Delhi at 5:50 pm and reaches Dehradun at 10:35 am. The next day at 7 am, Vande Bharat train leaves from Dehradun for Anand Vihar. It reaches Anand Vihar Terminal at 11:45 via Haridwar, Roorkee, Saharanpur, Deoband, Muzaffarnagar, Meerut. It is noteworthy that the operation of Vande Bharat train was started for the first time between Delhi and Uttarakhand on 29 May 2023. This train was flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Vande Bharat train, which reaches the destination on time at high speed, remains the first choice of passengers today. Railways had earlier planned to run this train on Jan Shatabdi route. For this, the train was to be run from Tapri railway station instead of Saharanpur. Railways had also issued a possible schedule for this to the officials, but after the news came in the media, the stoppages of the train were changed. Earlier, only three stoppages, Haridwar, Tapri and Meerut, were kept between Dehradun and Delhi.
