Katihar. Bihar is soon going to get the gift of another Vande Bharat Express. The hope of starting operation of Vande Bharat train between New Jalpaiguri and Patna under Katihar Railway Division has increased. The new and modern rake of the new Vande Bharat train from New Jalpaiguri to Patna has reached New Jalpaiguri. This train will go between New Jalpaiguri Patna via Kishanganj Barsoi Katihar Navgachia Khagaria Begusarai Barauni.
The trial of the train is going to start from March 5 between New Jalpaiguri and Patna. According to the information, this train will leave from New Jalpaiguri at 05:15 am for trial and will reach Kishanganj at 06:15 am. After stopping for two minutes, this train will leave from Kishanganj at 6.17 am and will reach Katihar at around 7.45 am and then leave Katihar at 07.50 am. After leaving Katihar, this train will reach Patna at around 12.10 pm, stopping at Navgachia, Khagaria, Begusarai, Mokama and Bakhtiyarpur. Then this train will leave from Patna at 01 pm and will reach Katihar at 05:35 pm and then this train will leave Katihar at 05:40 pm and will reach New Jalpaiguri at 8 pm.
Chaudhary Vijay Kumar, Additional Divisional Railway Manager of Katihar Railway Division, said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off the Vande Bharat train on March 9. This train is likely to run smoothly from March 10.
Katihar DRM Surendra Kumar said, 'The state-of-the-art Vande Bharat rake running from New Jalpaiguri to Patna has reached New Jalpaiguri. It will be made operational in a few days. However, notification has not yet come from the Railway Board.
