This train will run on the shortest route (573 km) between the two cities. Let us tell you that this distance is 3 km less than other trains usually running. The most special thing is that the Vande Bharat train running between Agra to Banaras will cover this distance of 573 km in just 7 hours. During the entire journey, the train will stop at a total of 4 stations. Vande Bharat Express will run at a speed of 82 km per hour on this route and will provide smooth connectivity between Agra and Banaras.
Let us tell you that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had virtually flagged off the Agra Cantt-Banaras Vande Bharat train. Now commercial operations have started on this route from September 23 and this train will be managed by the Northeast Railway Varanasi Division.

There will be a total of 4 stoppages in the distance between Agra Cantt and Banaras. The train journey will start from Agra Cantt (AGC) and will leave from this station at 6 am. The first stop of the train will be Tundla Junction (TDL) where it will reach at 6:48 am. And from here it will leave at 6:50 am and reach its next destination i.e. Etawah Junction (ETW) at 7:40 am. From here the train will leave at 7:42 am.
After this, this Vande Bharat train will reach Kanpur station at 9:15 am and after stopping for 5 minutes, it will leave for its next stop Prayagraj Junction (PRYJ). This train will reach Prayagraj at 11:25 am and will leave from there at 11:30 am. After this, the train will reach its final destination i.e. Banaras (BSBS) station at 1 pm.
This eight-coach train will leave Varanasi on its return journey at 3:20 pm and reach Agra Cantt station at 10:20 pm.
