Uttar Pradesh's first City Eve Accelerator workshop in Ghaziabad on Friday

Ghaziabad, June 27 (HS) 25 places have been selected for electric vehicle charging stations in Ghaziabad metropolis adjacent to Delhi. Where 110 charging stations will be installed. After Lucknow, Ghaziabad is the second city in Uttar Pradesh where work is going on for electric vehicles. For this, a workshop will be organized at Hotel Radisson Blue in Kaushambi on June 28. In which all the concerned government departments of Ghaziabad, RWA officials, social organizations and related companies have also been invited.

A meeting regarding this was held in the Collectorate auditorium on Thursday in the presence of District Magistrate Indra Vikram Singh and Municipal Commissioner Vikramaditya Malik and an action plan was prepared.

Municipal Commissioner Vikramaditya Singh Malik said that the metropolis is being made aware of electronic vehicles. For which an action plan is being prepared by RMI India Foundation NGO in collaboration with Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation. A workshop has been organized at Radisson Blu Hotel in Kaushambi on 28th June at 10:30 am.

The Municipal Commissioner informed that Ghaziabad Development Authority, Housing Development Council, RTO Department, Transport Department, Traffic Department, Petrol Pump Association, RWA Association, Electric Vehicle Manufacturing Companies, Electric Vehicle Users, Electric Charging Operators, Vehicle Dealers, Udyog Bandhu and others have been invited to the workshop and a workshop will be organised to discuss and make the city aware about electronic vehicles.

The District Magistrate has praised the program being organized by Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation for public awareness about electric vehicles. He informed that 25 places have been selected for charging stations where 110 charging stations will be installed. After Lucknow, Ghaziabad is the second city in Uttar Pradesh where work is going on for electric vehicles and Ghaziabad is the first city in Uttar Pradesh where such motivational workshops are being organized. In the coming times, while making efforts to make Ghaziabad pollution free, similar electric vehicle motivational programs will be organized from time to time. Electric vehicle work is going on as a grand campaign in Lucknow, Kanpur, Ghaziabad, Noida, Agra, Banaras. Mayor Sunita Dayal, Principal Secretary of Uttar Pradesh Urban Development Department Amrit Abhijat, District Magistrate Indra Vikram Singh, and senior officers of other departments will be present in the workshop.
