Auraiya, 25 September (HS). The Secondary Teachers' Union will hold a sit-in protest on 28 September for the old pension. Primary teachers from Uttar Pradesh will participate in this protest.
The office bearers of the union will also be present. This decision was taken on Wednesday in a meeting of the office bearers chaired by the District President of the Primary Teachers' Union, Akhilesh Chandra Yadav.
This was decided in the meeting. In the meeting of Uttar Pradesh Primary Teachers Association District Working Committee held at District Headquarter Kakor, discussions were also held on submitting membership by 15th October, conducting the elections of office blocks soon and strengthening the organization.
Apart from this, the official gave option letters for providing bonus to inter-district teachers soon, sending the pension related files to the state, giving food grains every month. Deep anger was expressed over not sending the money for fruits of previous years in MDM to the primary schools. Teachers are not being given promotion pay scale for several months. There was a discussion on getting the verification of teachers in 69000 done soon, seat disposal of files of selection pay scale, timely payment of salary to teachers. In which it was decided that the organization will meet the Basic Education Officer and the Accounts Officer and submit a memorandum regarding the solution of the problems. If the problems are not solved, the Uttar Pradesh Primary Teachers Association will be forced to stage protest.
