Uttar Pradesh Police Constable Recruitment Exam Cancelled, Chief Minister Yogi Announces After Violent Protest

UP Police Exam Cancelled: Incidents of paper tearing often happen in Gujarat and the hard work of candidates preparing for government jobs goes waste. Now it has been revealed that the police recruitment exam paper has been leaked in Uttar Pradesh. Due to which Yogi government has canceled the Uttar Pradesh Police constable recruitment. After the claim of paper leak, lakhs of candidates had demanded cancellation of the examination.

More than 48 lakh candidates appeared in the examination.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath posted 'X' and wrote, 'UP Police Constable Recruitment Examination has been canceled and re-examination will be ordered in the next 06 months.' UP Police conducted the recruitment on 17th and 18th February 2024 to fill a total of 60244 vacancies on the post of Constable. More than 48 lakh candidates had appeared in the examination. According to the candidates, the paper of the examination held on February 18 in the 3 to 5 pm shift was leaked, the question paper reached all the candidates and coaching teachers.

Action against paper leakers

According to reports, those who leaked police recruitment exam papers are on the 'radar' of the Special Task Force (STF) of Uttar Pradesh Police and many accused have been arrested so far.

It is noteworthy that getting a government job is the dream of every youth. Government job aspirants work hard, leave home and prepare for competitive exams. But when the paper is leaked a day before or after the exam, the exam is canceled and the hopes of the youth and their families are dashed.
