Utility along with generalization is necessary for successful research: Dr. Priyam Shukla

Kanpur, 21 February (HS). Students should pay more attention to accuracy rather than guesswork in the field of research and should pay more attention to consistency rather than quick success. It should be kept in mind that research is not just a written document but research is a systematic, objective and logical process. A real research will be successful only when it has utility as well as generalization. Dr. Priyanka Shukla said these things at Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University on Wednesday.

On Wednesday, the third day of the ongoing seven-day workshop on 'Artificial Intelligence for Social Sciences', two sessions were organized at the School of Arts Humanities and Social Sciences of Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University. Dr. Priyanka Shukla, the keynote speaker of the first session, talked to the students on computational research. Whereas in the second session of the workshop 'Max Prof. Satyen Srivastava of 'AI' told the students on the topic 'Artificial Intelligence and its Effects' that Artificial Intelligence (AI) gives us better results in less time using minimum resources. In today's time, how is AI capable of influencing our personal and professional lives as well as increasing our efficiency towards the competitions coming in our business lives?

With this we have to keep in mind that AI is only to help us and not to establish itself by replacing us. And finally, while talking about AI literacy, he said that AI should be only for the benefit of humans and not for the harm of humans. AI is only meant to simplify the functioning of human life and not to be effective on human life. At the same time, students were made aware of AI tools through practical training. Thereafter, the students themselves made themselves aware of using AI tools in the class.

In the last phase of the workshop, students and researchers satisfied their curiosity by asking questions related to artificial intelligence and its effects. In the last phase of the workshop, Amritanshu Pandey of Brahma Sanstha discussed the topic of AI tools and made the students aware. Workshop coordinator Dr. Anshu Singh, Amritanshu Pandey of Brihat Shiksha Sansthan, other faculty members of the department along with students and researchers participated through online and offline medium.
