In such a situation, farmer brothers can naturally manage pests in their fields by using the decoction (Neemastra) prepared from Neem and turmeric. The above information was given by Dr. Ashish Rai, soil expert of Agricultural Science Center, Parsauni, while giving live training to the members of Jeevika Group on making Neemastra.
He said that it should be started by using it in nutrition garden, kitchen garden and home garden. This will not only reduce the use of chemical pesticides but will also keep the next generation healthy. He said that the use of Neemastra will improve the health of the soil as well as the health of vegetables and fruits. The quality of fruits will also increase. Natural farming and holistic production is the need of the hour. With this, the soil ecosystem and human health can be kept healthy for a long time. With the use of Neemastra decoction, plant pests and other diseases in crops can be managed efficiently. -How to make Neemastra
Neem leaves 10 kg, cow urine 10 litre, cow dung 2 kg, water 200 litre.
Take neem leaves or dried neem fruits and grind it well and add water to the vessel and heat it slowly. When the neem leaves boil completely, cool it and add it to 200 liters of water along with the water mixture. Add 10 liters of cow urine in it and add two kilos of cow dung. Stir it with a stick, cover it and keep it in a shady place for 48 hours.
After 48 hours, filter the solution with a cotton cloth. In this way the solution will be ready for spraying.
