Use dry wood and cow dung cakes in Holika Dahan: Collector

The meeting of the District Level Peace Committee was held in the Police Control Room Auditorium under the chairmanship of Collector Dilip Kumar Yadav and Superintendent of Police Anurag Sujania. During the meeting, upcoming festivals including Nahar Syed National Unity Fair, Holika Dahan, Dhulendi, Good Friday, Rang Panchami, Sheetala Saptami, Gudi Padwa Chaitra Navratri start, Chaiti Chand, Eid-ul-Fitr, Dr. Ambedkar Jayanti, Peace arrangements to be made on the festivals of Vaisakhi, Ram Navami, Mahavir Jayanti and Hanuman Jayanti were discussed. During the meeting, all the society members were requested not to cut green plants during Holika Dahan. Instead of this, use dry wood and cow dung cakes and play Holi in moderation.

Municipality President Ramadevi Banshilal Gurjar, Additional Collector Ekta Jaiswal, Additional SP Gautam Singh Solanki, all members of the peace committee were present during the meeting. In the meeting, the Collector said that the Model Code of Conduct should be followed properly in the programs to be organized during the coming festivals in the coming days. If any program is organized, then proper permission should be taken first. Organize the program only after permission. In all the upcoming festivals, organize programs as per the rules of the government and administration. Follow the rules while playing loudspeaker. If loudspeakers are being played during the day, then due permission should be taken for the same. Municipality Mandsaur should take special care of cleanliness during the festival. MPEB department should check the light poles and wires thoroughly. For this, visit the field once.
