US Trade Representative (USTR) Jameson Greer, while announcing the new tariff structure, made it clear that these rules will become effective from 12:01 pm Eastern Time on Friday. According to USTR’s fact sheet, these new tariffs will range from 10% to 12.5%, covering about 99.4% of total US trade.
