UPSC Examination: Amid controversy over alleged irregularities in the NET examination, the country's premier recruitment body UPSC has decided to use facial recognition and artificial intelligence (AI)-based CCTV surveillance system to prevent cheating in its various exams.
CCTV surveillance system will be used
It has recently issued a tender inviting bids from experienced public sector companies to develop two technological solutions. Live AI based CCTV surveillance system will be used during the examination process for Aadhaar based fingerprint authentication and facial recognition of candidates and scanning of QR code of e-admit cards.
