It is worth noting that Satnam had gone to Italy from Moga, Punjab to work illegally.

Satnam Singh's family gets support from trade unions

Apart from this, the Indian Embassy in Italy condoled the death of Satnam Singh and called the incident unfortunate. The embassy posted on social media and said, 'We are aware of the news of the death of an Indian citizen in Latina, Italy. And are in touch with the local administration. Efforts are being made to contact the family.' It is worth noting that many trade unions of Italy have called this incident cruel. Apart from this, many trade unions have also come forward to provide relief to Satnam Singh's family.
