Party formed after separation from Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar
Former Union Minister Upendra Kushwaha has announced the new name of his party on Sunday. He said that his party formed after separation from JDU President and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will now be known as 'Rashtriya Lok Manch'. Kushwaha had earlier named his party 'Rashtriya Lok Janata Dal'.
Has submitted his application for “Rashtriya Lok Janata Dal”.
Upendra Kushwaha said that the new name of his party has been approved by the Election Commission. He said, “On our application for Rashtriya Lok Janata Dal, the Election Commission asked us to present some more options. We suggested five options and the Election Commission agreed with the Rashtriya Lok Manch.”
Will support NDA on 40 parliamentary seats
Kushwaha, the NDA's junior alliance partner in Bihar, also expressed confidence that his party will contribute to ensuring the victory of the BJP-led alliance on all 40 parliamentary seats in the state. He also took a dig at Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad Yadav's statement in which Lalu Yadav had said that doors are open for Nitish Kumar, we will see when he comes.
Lalu broke down due to separation from JDU
On Lalu's statement, Upendra Kushwaha said, “It seems that Lalu has broken down after separating from JDU, due to which RJD has lost power.” That's why they are saying things that don't make much sense.
