Let us tell you that earlier on Tuesday, the Uttar Pradesh Forest Department had caught the fifth 'killer' wolf, while one is yet to be caught. Wolves were behind several attacks on villagers in Bahraich. The Uttar Pradesh Forest Department took the wolf to the rescue shelter. The Uttar Pradesh Forest Department had launched Operation Bhediya to catch a pack of wolves responsible for recent attacks in 25-30 villages under Mahsi Tehsil in Bahraich Range of Bahraich Forest Division.

In Bahraich, the forest department has installed snap cameras at most of the potential wolf habitats in the area to keep track of any movement of wolves, which will help the forest department to track the wolves' activity and catch them. Three snap cameras have also been installed around six caves in Sikandarpur village, which local villagers consider to be the habitat of wolves. So far, 10 people have died and more than 40 people have been injured in attacks by man-eating wolves in various villages of Bahraich.
