Lucknow, 01 October (HS). The premises of five officers of Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam were raided by the Vigilance team on Tuesday. This action has been taken in the case of disproportionate assets.
According to preliminary information, after getting the search warrant from the court, the vigilance team arrested five officers of C&DS (Construction and Design Services), a unit of UP Jal Nigam, Assistant Engineer and Project Manager Raghavendra Kumar Gupta, Superintending Engineer (Chief) Satyaveer. The locations of Singh Chauhan, Superintending Engineer Ajay Rastogi, Project Manager and Assistant Engineer Kamal Kumar Kharbanda, Assistant Engineer and Project Manager Krishna Kumar Patel are being investigated. This action is going on in Indira Nagar, Gomti Nagar and Vikas Nagar.
It is noteworthy that on the orders of the government, an investigation was conducted against these people in the year 2019-20. So far, 11 cases have been registered when cases of disproportionate assets were found during the investigation. Investigation is going on in all these cases.
