Bareilly, September 22: As per the vision of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Ruhilkhand is going to take a big leap in the campaign of taking local skills and products to the markets of the country and the world. The shine of Bareilly’s zari-zardozi, mentha, medicines, bamboo-cane and food products will be visible in the UP International Trade Fair-2026. Wooden carvings of Pilibhit and brocade work of Shahjahanpur will also be in front of the buyers. From new exporters to units already doing business abroad, they have been given space in different pavilions. Divisional Commissioner Bareilly Shambhu Kumar said that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s intention is to provide a big market to local products and small enterprises. In this direction, UP International Trade Fair is becoming a big platform for local artisans, entrepreneurs and exporters. Along with traditional zari-zardozi and wood carving from Bareilly division, enterprises related to medicine, mentha, food processing, packaging and bamboo-cane are also participating in it.
Bareilly’s zari-zardozi will show its magic
Six units of Bareilly have got place in One District-One Product. Manisha Jewelery will arrive with handicraft products from the goldsmith industry. Kamal Traders, Pinky Zari Arts, Shikha Zari Art, Jyotsna Zari Work and Krishna Garments will showcase the zari-zardozi work of Bareilly. Rashid Handicraft and Faizah Malik will arrive from Pilibhit with wood carving products.
From spices to resin art, small industries will show strength
The diversity of small and medium industries of Bareilly will also be visible. Srishtipurti spices and spice blends, while Nandu Chef will showcase products related to food processing. Sheel Artworks will arrive with hand crafted resin art and Glitz & Threads jewellery. Hunker Art & Essence will showcase scented candles, resin products and thread bangles. Pharm Tab Health Care will arrive with pharmaceutical products. Apart from this, Rajesh Zari Goods and Ruby Zari Fashion will showcase the craftsmanship of Bareilly through zari-zardozi, hand embroidery and artificial jewellery.
Big opportunity for new exporters, five stalls from three units of Bareilly
The stall has been kept for 14 new exporters. In this, three units of Bareilly have got a total of five stalls. HNV Pharma Limited (Humble Healthcare) will set up two stalls for pharmaceutical products. Dastkar Bamboo Cane Development Producer Company Limited will arrive with products made from bamboo and cane. Sirmaur Soaps and Allied Products will set up two stalls with soaps, laundry products and brooms. PTR Global Export Private Limited of Pilibhit will be present here with products made from Indian wood. It’s got a stall.
Bareilly reaches clothes and packaging with mentha fragrance
Pavilion 15 earmarked for regular exporters comprises three units from Bareilly. SA will arrive with international apparel. Kelvin Natural Mint Pvt Ltd will showcase products like Mentha Oil, Peppermint Oil, Menthol Crystals and Spearmint Oil. Anjaninandan Premier Packaging Private Limited will introduce polypropylene bags. All three units have got one stall each. Rashid Handicraft of Pilibhit will display wood carving products. Daraksha Malik and Subhuhi will arrive with zari-zardozi products. Kumkum Zari Works from Shahjahanpur will present the craftsmanship of the district in front of the buyers through zari and products made from it.
Taste of Badaun Peda and Bareilly Barfi along with business
Not only products will be traded in the trade fair, the taste of Rohilkhand will also attract people. Bareilly’s Ajanta Sweets, Rampur Garden and Kips’ Barfi have found a place in the packaged food counters. Whereas Chole-Bhatura of Mohit Sharma Breakfast Corner will be prepared and served directly. The famous Peda of Habbu Halwai of Badaun will also reach the trade fair. Pawan Sweet House of Pilibhit will offer khoya based sweets and lounge. Longe has got the place from Shahjahanpur. Suraj Mishthan Bhandar, Kakrala of Badaun has also been given stall number 33 for local cuisine.
From brocade thread to export flight
The business picture of Rohilkhand is no longer limited to traditional skills only. On one side there is the zari-zardozi of Bareilly and wood carving of Pilibhit, while on the other side there are industries like medicine, mentha, food processing, packaging and bamboo-cane. All of them are going to get a platform in the UP International Trade Fair. The maximum participation is being seen from Bareilly, due to which the changing industrial picture along with the traditional skills of the district will be presented to the buyers coming from India and abroad.
