Agra, 22 September. The entrepreneurs of Tajnagar are all set to showcase their business capabilities and skills in the ‘Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show’ (UPITS) 2026 to be held in Greater Noida from 25 to 29 September. This brilliant initiative of the Uttar Pradesh government led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is providing a big global platform to the local entrepreneurs, handicraftsmen and innovators of Agra. Agra district’s participation in this big event is increasing every year. This year, 36 entrepreneurs from the district will participate in UPITS, for which 60 stalls have been reserved.
Big platform for budding and women entrepreneurs
This time, entrepreneurs from different sections of Agra have been given opportunities in the UP International Trade Show. There will be 10 stalls of 8 units under ODOP (One District One Product) category in the fair. Apart from this, 7 stalls of 7 units are being set up in the category of women entrepreneurs, MSME and youth entrepreneurs. These include 4 women entrepreneurs and 3 young entrepreneurs, who will present their innovations to global buyers. To take the business to the export level, 25 stalls of 17 units each are being set up in the ‘Buddy Exporter’ category and 10 stalls of 9 units each in the ‘Regular Exporter’ category. One unit is also participating with full enthusiasm under the Chief Minister Youth Entrepreneur Development Campaign.
A wide range of crafts and skills of Agra will be visible
A wonderful range of products from Agra will be seen in this trade show organized at India Expo Mart in Greater Noida. A grand collection of Agra’s world famous leather products, marble stone products, footwear, leather footwear, home decor, carpets, handicrafts, handloom sarees, garments, zari zardozi and imitation jewelery will be displayed mainly on the stalls. Foreign guests and big buyers will come face to face with the rich craftsmanship and skills of Agra.
There will be a lot of fun with live kitchen and delicious dishes.
In UPITS, not only the crafts but also the flavors of Tajnagari will have a special place. 5 units are participating under ODOC category. Domestic and foreign buyers coming to the trade show will be able to taste the world famous petha of Agra. Along with this, the traditional sweets and namkeens of Agra will be displayed beautifully. A special ‘Live Kitchen’ will also be a major attraction here, where fresh and delicious dishes will be served.
