UP: Four Bangladeshi nationals arrested from Rae Bareli

Rae Bareli, April 20 (Hindustan Reporter) Police have arrested four Bangladeshi citizens living in Rae Bareli and Unnao districts of Uttar Pradesh. Bangladeshi passport and other things have been found from them. These people were running a fake clinic here.

Superintendent of Police Abhishek Aggarwal said that the police received input that Bangladeshi citizens are living illegally in other places including Maurana town of Unnao district and Khiro town of Rae Bareli. His relatives are also with him. Here these people support themselves by running clinics. After this the police started searching for these people.

During this, it was revealed that Kamal, who had bought land and built a house in the town itself one and a half years ago, was running a clinic on Atarhar Road. Mantosh also lived with him. Tanmay Maharaniganj and Prakash Haldar, who brought all of them here, used to run his clinic in Maurwana in Unnao district. After collecting all the evidence, the police first picked up Prakash. During interrogation, he gave many important information, after which the police also arrested his associates.

When the police asked for valid passports from all the people, they could not show them. Kamal used to call himself Banerjee, so that no one could have any doubt and people considered him a Bengali. Police have recovered three Bangladeshi passports, Aadhaar card and other documents from the accused.

The Superintendent of Police said that four Bangladeshi citizens living illegally have been arrested. Further action is being taken by informing senior officials and the investigating agency in this regard.
