In the Noida land scam case, ED raided several places for 2 days. During this raid, diamonds and jewels worth Rs. 42.56 crores and Rs. 85 lakh cash have been seized. ED raided the premises of former IAS officer Mohinder Singh and the directors of Hacienda Projects Private Limited (HPPL). In which ED raided 18 places especially in Chandigarh, Noida, Meerut, Delhi and Goa. Documents of many benami properties have also been found during the investigation.

The ED has recovered cash, jewellery and benami properties from the premises of retired IAS officer Mohinder Singh and directors of Hacienda Projects Private Limited (HPPL) after two days of raids. The ED has seized Rs. Diamonds and gold jewellery worth Rs 42.56 crore. Cash worth Rs 85 lakh and documents of several benami properties have been seized. The raids were conducted at 18 places including Chandigarh, Noida, Meerut, Delhi and Goa.

Mohinder Singh, a 1978 batch IAS officer, has been the CEO of Noida Vikas Pradhikaran. He was considered one of the most powerful bureaucrats in the BSP government between 2007 and 2012. He is accused of misusing his position and allocating valuable land at nominal rates to his close aides.

The ED conducted raids at the premises of Mohinder Singh and HPPL directors Surpreet Singh Suri, Vidur Bhardwaj, Nirmal Singh, Aditya Gupta and Ashish Gupta. During this period, diamonds and gold jewellery worth Rs. 29.35 crore. One diamond worth Rs. 5.26 crore and additional diamond jewellery worth Rs. 7.01 crore were seized. In total, the ED has spent Rs. 42.56 crore on the seizure of jewellery and cash.
