Prayagraj, 21 February (HS). UP Board's high school and intermediate examinations are starting from Thursday in two shifts. More than 55 lakh candidates are ready to take the exam. Hindi subject examination is to be held in high school and intermediate. Admit cards have been distributed to everyone. More than three lakh room inspectors have been deployed. Everyone has been given ID cards with QR codes. Everyone has registered their presence at the examination centers on Wednesday.
The answer book has also been brought under the ambit of QR code. STF, local intelligence department and police have also become active to stop cheating in the examination. A three-tier team has been formed to open the question paper packets at the examination centres. QRT i.e. Immediate Action Team has been formed to monitor social media, which will remain active 24 hours. The command room set up in all the regional offices including the Board Headquarters to monitor the examination centers and strong rooms has also become active. All the district school inspectors of the state have been instructed to inspect the examination centers at night.
Board Secretary Dibyakant Shukla held a Google meeting on Wednesday and gave exam related guidelines to all the district school inspectors of the state. 29,38,663 candidates will appear in high school and 5,123 candidates will appear in intermediate. In the second shift, Inter Hindi and General Hindi examination will be held at 8,232 centres. Commerce examination in high school will be held at 1619 centres. 24,29,278 candidates will appear in Intermediate and 38,437 candidates will appear in High School. In case of wrong opening, action will be taken against all three. Social media has been targeted this time. Who will keep a constant eye on WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter account etc. The Board Secretary said that 1297 Sector Magistrates, 430 Zonal Magistrates, 75 State level observers and 416 mobile squads have been formed to stop cheating across the state. He said that complete preparations have been made to make the examination cheating-free as per the intention of the government.
