UP Board: Important examination in both shifts on Monday, arrangements will be strict

Prayagraj, 03 March (HS). Monday is another important day of UP Board exams. Examination of important subjects English in High School and Physics in Intermediate is going to be conducted in both the shifts at all 8272 examination centers of the state. 28,75,055 candidates will appear in the examination in the first shift and 17,36,106 candidates in the second shift. The system will be very strict during the examination.

UP Board Secretary Divya Kant Shukla has said that if any kind of negligence or irregularity is found at the examination centres, those responsible will not be spared. The first action will be taken against the center administrator only. The static magistrate has been warned. In the centres, only the center administrator and static magistrate will be able to use the mobile if needed. On Sunday, the Secretary from the Board Headquarters held a Google Meet with education officers of several districts and gave guidelines.

After the Agra incident, UP Board has increased the strictness during the examination. Everyone has been banned from carrying mobile phones in the examination centres. Now only static magistrates and center administrators can use mobile phones if needed. From the command room, action is being taken against the center administrator of any examination center where negligence is seen. Throughout the day on Sunday, UP Board officials kept working on a new strategy to ensure the successful conduct of Monday's examination. Meetings were held one by one with supervisors of 75 districts.

It is noteworthy that on March 4, in the first shift, there will be examination for High School English and Intermediate, Computer Vocational class and Agriculture class. In the second shift, there will be examination of security subject in high school and examination of physics, psychology, pedagogy and logic in intermediate. The Board Secretary said that during the examination, all the invigilators, mobile squads and zonal magistrates will remain in the field. All the centers will be monitored from the command room.
