UP Board Exam: More than seven thousand examination centers have been monitored so far on the instructions of CM

Prayagraj, 24 February (HS). On the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the strategy prepared by the Secondary Education Council (UP Board) to conduct cheating-free examinations has surprised even the education officials. Despite the absence of high school and intermediate examinations on Saturday, the board headquarters remained in touch with district school inspectors across the state. On receiving a complaint about the appointment of a center administrator in the Government Inter College, Barabanki, the government immediately took cognizance of the matter. Now seven thousand examination centers have been monitored from the Command Centre. The shortcomings of more than a hundred examination centers have been detected by the control room through CCTV cameras. These shortcomings have been removed.

-Instructions to keep the examination centers completely clean and neat

According to Board Secretary Dibyakant Shukla, negligence of security personnel was seen in the strong room in some examination centres, which has been instructed to be rectified. Strict measures were taken to ensure proper cleanliness of the examination centres. The Board Secretary told all the officials in Google Meet that the candidates should not face any kind of problem during the examination. It has also been asked to ensure that the examination is conducted in a clean manner and that the children get the right environment. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's attitude is also strict regarding conducting cheating-free examinations. In this matter, higher officials are continuously taking information about the arrangements related to the examination from the Board Secretary.

-Officers have been distributed district wise work

The work has been distributed district wise to all the officers of the board. After the change in the format of the question paper last year, the board is worried about their safety this time too. Due to this, district education officers are reaching the strong rooms of examination centers in many districts at night to investigate. On the instructions of the Board Secretary, the strong rooms of more than seven thousand examination centers have been checked so far. This time a lot of caution has been taken in making the examination centers also. Infamous colleges have been avoided from being made examination centres. Wherever the board has received complaints of irregularities, special vigil is being maintained through CCTV cameras.

-Special monitoring squads have been formed in the districts

The Secretary of the Board said that keeping in mind the security of question papers in the examination centres, special checking squads have been formed in the districts. The names of the officers of this squad have been kept confidential. This squad is authorized to reach the examination centers at any time for checking. However, before going for investigation, the District School Inspector will be informed about this. Last year also the Board had made a similar arrangement which was quite effective.
