Prayagraj. UP Board 10th and 12th annual examinations have been completed. The board exams were conducted over 12 working days between February 22 and March 9. This time also the board had taken many strict steps to prevent cheating and rigging in the examination. Due to which 3 lakh 24 thousand 08 candidates left the examination. 1 lakh 84 lakh 986 high school and 1 lakh 39 thousand 022 intermediate candidates remained absent. A total of 55 lakh 25 lakh 308 candidates including high school and intermediate were registered. In which 29 lakh 99 thousand 507 high school candidates and 25 lakh 25 thousand 801 intermediate candidates are included.
UP Board has created a record by completing the board exams in 12 days. Earlier in the year 2023, the board examination was completed in 14 days. A total of 37 fake candidates were caught during the board exams. Apart from this, 48 were also caught while copying. During the examination, FIR was lodged against a total of 56 fake candidates and others.
17 colleges received notice
Due to cheating and other complaints during UP Board exams, notices have been given to 17 colleges. For the first time, a command and control room was created at the board examination headquarters to monitor the board examinations. Another record was created for the paper not opening wrongly. This trend continued in the year 2020 and this time also.
Scrutiny of copies will start from March 16
After the completion of the UP Board exams, the board has now started preparing to check the copies. The evaluation of board exam copies will be done between March 16 and March 31. According to the report, the results of UP Board exam can be released by the end of April or in the first week of May. Last year also, the evaluation of board exam copies was completed on March 31. The result was released in record time on 25 April.
