UP: Admission process in Atal Residential Schools will be completed in a week

Lucknow, 06 April (HS). Yogi government's ambitious scheme to provide quality residential education to the children of registered construction workers, the admission process for class 6 and class 9 in Atal Residential Schools will be completed within a week.

The school session has started from April 1, but due to the implementation of the Model Code of Conduct, the results of the entrance examinations for class 6 and class 9 could not be declared. For this, permission has been sought from the Election Commission on behalf of the school committee. It is expected that soon after getting the permission, the results will be declared and students will be given admission through counselling.

Last year itself, this ambitious scheme of CM Yogi, Atal Residential School, was launched by PM Modi. These schools have been started in 16 divisions, while the construction work of buildings is in progress in two divisions, Moradabad and Bareilly, due to which the students here have been transferred to other schools. They will be shifted here after the building is constructed.

Our result has been prepared, but due to Model Code of Conduct we could not declare the result at some places. We have sought permission in this regard from the Election Commission. As soon as the permission is received, the result will be declared and the process will be implemented within a week. He told that our preparations are complete and after the completion of the admission process, the study work will also be started.
