Haryana Election Result EC: The Election Commission has rejected Congress's allegations of any irregularities in the Haryana elections, calling them baseless, false and baseless. The 1600-page reply also provides evidence that authorized representatives of Congress candidates were present at all stages, including the time of switching on the batteries of the EVMs and thereafter for 7-8 consecutive days till the completion of counting.

Completely dismissing the nonsense regarding the condition of battery display in EVMs, the Election Commission clarified that the battery voltage and capacity have no bearing on the counting of votes by EVMs. Any doubt that battery level affects election results is nonsense.
Congress made these allegations
It is noteworthy that Congress had submitted several complaints to the Election Commission regarding the irregularities in EVMs during the counting of votes in the Haryana Assembly elections. Congress candidates from 20 assembly constituencies, in their complaint to the Election Commission, alleged that the Congress party lost on 99 per cent charged EVMs and the Congress won on 60-70 per cent charged EVMs. This is surprising.
