The United Nations said on Tuesday that it has stopped distributing food, including soup, to the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip because new supplies are not arriving. A senior US official said the biggest concern for the US is that Israel could launch a large-scale geomilitary offensive to drive Hamas out of the region, even if it says no.
