Anuppur, August 3 (HS). Fly ash is being transported from the Moser Baer Thermal Power Plant located in Jaithari to Hard OCM in the district. Hundreds of vehicles pass through the villages of Hard, Badra and Jamuna every day, due to which the main road has been completely damaged. Due to this, the villagers have to face problems every day. The villagers, troubled by the dilapidated road, staged a unique protest on Saturday. The villagers expressed their protest by converting the road into a field and planting paddy in it. The video of this unique protest of the villagers is going viral on social media on Saturday.
Former Sarpanch of the village Surendra said that fly ash is being transported from the Moser Baer Thermal Power Plant by heavy vehicles. Due to which the road has been damaged. Villagers have to face difficulties in commuting.
The drain will be cleaned soon
On this whole issue, mine manager Harad OCM LB Prasad said that small drains were arranged for water drainage. But, due to their lack of cleaning, water started accumulating on the roads. Due to which potholes were formed, soon the drains will be cleaned.
