Katihar, September 5 (HS). 16 new health institutions will be inaugurated to strengthen health services in Katihar district of Bihar. These include Community Health Center, Additional Primary Health Center and Health and Wellness Center. These health institutions will be inaugurated by Union Health and Family Welfare Minister JP Nadda and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar through video conferencing on Friday (September 06).
In the proposed inauguration programme, the district administration will manage the crowd control and law and order and the civil surgeon with the cooperation of BMSICL will make arrangements for celebrating the programme of unveiling of plaque at each venue. After the inauguration of the programme through video conferencing from IGIMS, the MP, MLA and MLC of the concerned area will go to the respective building and unveil the plaque regarding the inauguration of the newly built health institutions identified in their area. For this, the district administration has given necessary instructions to the Block Development Officer and the Medical Officer in Charge in all the blocks.
After the inauguration of health projects, the local people will be able to avail the necessary benefits easily. For this, necessary guidelines have been issued by District Officer Manish Kumar Meena to the Block Development Officer and Medical Officers in charge of all the concerned blocks. Due to availability of health facilities at the local area level, people will be able to avail the benefits easily and people will be able to stay healthy.
In Katihar district, 16 health projects include Community Health Centre in Kursela block, Additional Primary Health Centre Delhi Diwanganj in Ahmedabad block, Additional Primary Health Centre Balua in Hasanganj block, Additional Primary Health Centre Sauriya in Dandkhora block as well as three hospitals in Barsoi block, Mother-Newborn Care Unit Barsoi, Health and Wellness Centre, Manman and Health and Wellness Centre Shivanandpur. Along with this, two hospitals in Phalka block, Health and Wellness Centre, Bharsia and Health and Wellness Centre, Chandwa, two hospitals in Kadwa block, Health and Wellness Centre, Raunia and Health and Wellness Centre, Bindawari will be inaugurated. Apart from this, Health and Wellness Centre Kehunia in Pranpur block, Health and Wellness Centre Neema in Manihari block, Health and Wellness Centre Shishia in Kodha block, Health and Wellness Centre Khaira in Katihar block and Health and Wellness Centre Dandkhora in Dandkhora block will be inaugurated.
