Union Minister of State Sanjeev Balyan's convoy attacked during election rally, many vehicles damaged – News India Live

Muzaffarnagar, March 30 (Hindustan Reporter) Union Minister of State and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Dr. Sanjeev Baliyan had come to attend a public meeting at the election office in Madhakarimpur village of Khatauli town of the district late on Saturday evening to participate in the election program. During this, anti-social elements attacked his convoy. Many vehicles included in the convoy of the Union Minister of State were damaged in stone pelting by anti-social elements. There was chaos in the village regarding this.

As soon as the information about stone pelting on the convoy of the Union Minister was received, the Superintendent of Police along with the police station reached the spot. Police are investigating the case and have started searching for the attackers.

In this matter, SP City Satyanarayan told that today there was a program at the house of Pradhan Rakesh Kumar in village Madhakarimpur. When the convoy of the Union Minister of State reached the village, a crowd of some youth stood on the roadside and first raised slogans. After this the crowd pelted stones at the parked vehicles included in his convoy. In the stone pelting, the glass panes of the vehicles of many leaders present in the village including BJP leader Sanjeev Baliyan and former MLA were shattered and the vehicles were damaged. Police reached the spot in the village and investigated the situation. A case is being registered on the basis of the complaint received regarding vandalism of vehicles by unknown anti-social elements. The accused will be identified and further legal action will be taken.
