Union Minister Ajay Bhatt arrived to take stock of forest fire incidents, said- Uttarakhand is completely safe for tourism

Regional MP and Union Minister Ajay Bhatt conducted an on-site inspection of the fire that broke out in Maheshkhan area of ​​the district amid the horrors of forest fire in the district. During this, he gave the message that the entire state including Nainital is not at all affected from tourism point of view due to forest fire incidents. Tourists do not need to be afraid of forest fire in coming to Uttarakhand.

Maheshkhan is a famous center of eco-tourism under Gagar beat of Bhawali range near Nainital district headquarters. Regional MP and Union Minister Ajay Bhatt arrived here on Monday to conduct an on-site inspection of the forest fire. During this, he said that along with SDRF, NDRF is also engaged in extinguishing the fire here. Earlier, the fire in the forests near the headquarters was extinguished with the help of the Chief Minister himself and with the help of MI-17 helicopter of the Indian Army.

On the questions regarding cancellation of hotel bookings made earlier by about 1500 tourists in the tourist city after the incidents of forest fire, he said that not only Nainital, the entire state is safe from forest fire. Forest fires are happening in forests away from cities, and they are being extinguished promptly. There has not been a single human loss or even a single animal loss due to forest fire incidents. Therefore, there is no reason to panic and cancel the booking. During this, he also gave necessary directions to the departmental officers.
