Unemployed people cheated of lakhs in the name of getting jobs in government departments, 4 vicious thugs arrested

Bilaspur, 9 December (HS). The unemployed were defrauded of lakhs in the name of providing them jobs in government departments. He was given a fake appointment letter. People lost lakhs of rupees in the hoax. In this case, Bilaspur Police has arrested 4 vicious accused. Additional Superintendent of Police Bilaspur Rajendra Kumar Jaiswal told in a press conference today that till now more than 2 dozen people have become victims of fraud. 7 mobile phones, Rs 13 lakh in cash, an Innova car and other material have been seized from these accused. Civil Line Police has taken action.

The main accused Kapil Goswami, along with his fellow Sarpanch representative Ishwar Chauhan, so-called journalist Guru Divya Shankar, Rajesh Palange, used to identify unemployed youth who wanted government jobs and lure them to get government jobs. Sarpanch representative Ishwar Chauhan, so-called journalists Guru Divya Shankar, Rajesh Palange and other colleagues used to assure the unemployed youth that Kapil Goswami had contacts in all government departments. Kapil Goswami used to travel in an expensive car Innova with a driver and bodyguard. When unemployed youths fell into their trap, Kapil Goswami’s associates used to tell them the amount of jobs in different government departments. Unemployed youth used to borrow money from their relatives and relatives, mortgage the jewelery of their house and collect the money in search of a job and give it to Kapil Goswami. On paying the money, the youth were shown fake appointment certificates and in the name of document verification, their original documents were kept and assurances were given that they would be given appointment letters after verification. Kapil Goswami has previously gone to jail on charges of cheating in the name of getting a job. He is a vicious type of thug.

The accused youths organized and defrauded more than two dozen unemployed youths from different districts of the state in the name of providing them jobs in PWD, Police Department, Jail Department, PHE Department, Forest Department, Education Department.

The main accused in the case, Kapil Goswami, along with his associates, so-called journalist Gurushankar Divya, Sarpanch representative Ishwar Chauhan and his other associates, have defrauded crores of rupees. About Rs 13 lakh, an Innova car worth Rs 20 lakh and Rs 3 lakh in the bank account have been seized from the accused. Action is being taken against the accused by including section 111 of organized crime of the Indian Justice Code in the investigation. On interrogation, the accused have admitted to cheating about 25-30 youths of Rajanjgir Champa, Bilaspur, Sakti, Raipur, Baloda Bazar district.
