Varanasi, 21 November (HS). Astrologer Dr. Amod Dutt Shastri said that the date sheet made from the Indian astrology system is called Panchang. Understanding the calendar is essential for the knowledge of astrology. Panchang has five parts. Date, Vaar, Nakshatra, Yoga and Karan. Apart from these, various auspicious times and religious festivals etc. are given. Its importance is very important in religious life.
Dr. Amod was addressing the ten-day astrology camp organized at Shri Shastrarth Mahavidyalaya located in Dashashwamedh on Thursday. Dr. Amod told the students of astrology gathered in the camp that all the almanacs of the world originated in ancient times to fix the timings of religious activities. Later it was also included as a social festival and in the present times, programs of state importance. As the chief guest in the camp, President Awarded Dr. Ganesh Dutt Shastri said that astrology has great importance. Without this, auspicious and inauguration work is considered wrong. It is necessary to organize this type of camp for primary knowledge. Camp instructor and astrology scholar Dr. Sanjay Upadhyay said that in these ten days the students will be taught about the Panchang. With this, students will be able to easily do astrological calculations including time, date, eclipse and other astrological calculations by using it anytime anywhere.
Principal and program coordinator Dr. Pawan Kumar Shukla said that 65 participants took part in the camp on the first day. As the number of students increases, the timing of this workshop will also be extended to future days.
