Mumbai: A young deputy manager of a bank jumped into the sea from Atal Setu near Shivri today. They came to this bridge in a car. Police and fire brigade team conducted the search operation. Speed boat was used for the search. This incident was captured in CCTV camera. His wife said that he took this extreme step because the workload on the bank manager was too much.
After Bandra-Worli Sea Link, now suicides are increasing due to Atal Setu. Rohit Khot, senior police inspector of Shivadi police station, told 'Gujarat Samachar' that 40-year-old Sushant Chakraborty was living in Parel with his wife and son. , Sushant was working as a deputy manager in a nationalized bank in Fort. He left home in his car at 8.30 am today. Just then Atal came to the bridge by car. He stopped the car on the bridge at around 9.57 in the morning and jumped into the sea.
On receiving information about this incident, the police team that reached for the rescue operation searched for Sushant. The police took information from Sushant's family and informed them about the incident.
According to his wife, Sushant was stressed about work. He had a lot of workload and because of this he was under a lot of stress. Police did not find any note from him in the initial investigation. Senior Police Inspector Rohit Khot further said.
