Barabanki, 30 October (Hindustan Reporter). Near Shahavpur Toll Plaza of Banda Bahraich National Highway, a pickup hit two people riding a bike, resulting in the death of both the bike riders. The police have done Panchnama of both the bodies and sent them to the district headquarters for post-mortem.
Late Wednesday evening, a pickup coming from Barabanki went out of control near the toll plaza located in Shahabpur. The speeding pickup first hit a parked Maruti car and then crushed the motorcyclists going ahead. In which Awadhesh Kumar Mishra, resident of Majhauni of Ramnagar police station and Ramkishore Mishra, resident of Karsa Kala were seriously injured. Masauli police took both the injured in critical condition to the district hospital by ambulance. Where the doctors declared both of them dead. The police have done Panchnama of both the bodies and sent them for post-mortem. Police station in-charge Masauli said that further action is being taken after reading the writings.
