Mumbai, May 29 (HS). An uncontrolled car hit a pole after hitting four vehicles near Kale Petrol Pump in Maniknagar area of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. A girl died and four people were injured in this accident. All the four injured have been admitted to the nearest hospital. Along with this, the accused has been arrested.
According to the police, on Wednesday morning, a car coming from Sillod suddenly went out of control near Kale Petrol Pump in Maniknagar on Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar-Jalgaon Road. The car entered the petrol pump premises hitting the vehicles on the road and later collided with an electric pole. Three four-wheelers and one two-wheeler were damaged in this accident. Also, 9-year-old girl Maria Sayeed Sheikh Janoddin died and four people were injured.
After this incident, the driver Avinash More was trying to escape, but the local citizens caught him and handed him over to the Sillod police. The police have registered a case of culpable homicide against him under section 304 and are investigating the case thoroughly.
