Ukraine downs over 140 drones over Russia, closes three airports near Moscow | News India

Three airports near Moscow had to be closed

Moscow Governor Andrey Vorobyov said, 'One woman was killed and three people were injured in this attack. Five residential buildings near the damaged buildings were evacuated. The attack forced the closure of three airports near Moscow – Vnukovo, Domodedovo and Zhukovsky. According to Russia's civil aviation authority Rosaviatsia, 'a total of 48 flights were diverted to other airports.'

Russian forces shot down a drone

Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said debris from a drone attack in Moscow fell on a private house on the outskirts of the city but there were no casualties, adding that the military had shot down dozens of drones heading toward Moscow. 'A total of 144 drones launched by Ukraine have been shot down in nine Russian regions.'
