UKMSSB Nursing Officer Recruitment: Recruitment for Nursing Officer posts in Uttarakhand, salary up to ₹ 1.42 lakh; Know the eligibility and selection process

The official notification of recruitment was released on 3 June 2026. Candidates can complete their application process within the time frame given below:

• Starting date of online application: 12 June 2026

• Last date to apply: 02 July 2026 (by 5:00 pm)

• Online Correction Window: From 04 July to 07 July 2026 (during this period candidates will be able to correct the mistakes made in their form).

Total through this recruitment drive 196 posts Will be filled in which both male and female candidates are eligible to apply. About 80% of the total posts have been reserved for women.

Salary Package: Salary up to ₹ 1.42 lakh per month

Candidates who are finally selected for the posts of UKMSSB Nursing Officer will get an excellent salary package. Under the rules of 7th Pay Commission, they Pay Matrix Level-7 Benefit will be given.

• Basic Pay Scale: Will range from ₹ 44,900 to ₹ 1,42,400 per month.

• Additional Allowances: Apart from the basic salary, Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Traveling Allowance (TA) and other clinical medical facilities will also be payable as per the rules of the State Government.

Who can apply? Eligibility and Rules

To be a part of this government recruitment, candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

1. Educational Qualification

• The candidate should have from any Indian Nursing Council (INC) recognized institute or university. General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) Diploma should happen, or else B.Sc Nursing / B.Sc (Hons.) Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc Nursing degree is mandatory.

• Council Registration: It is mandatory for the candidate to have a valid and permanent registration certificate of ‘Uttarakhand Nursing and Midwifery Council, Dehradun’.

• Linguistic Knowledge: The candidate should have good practical knowledge of Hindi language in Devanagari script.

Special Incentive: As per the rules of the board, candidates who have minimum 2 years of service experience in Territorial Army or have ‘B’ or ‘C’ certificate of National Cadet Corps (NCC) will be given preference in the selection process.

2. Age Limit

• minimum age: 21 years

• Maximum Age: 42 years

• Date of calculation of age: determination of age limit 1 July 2025 Will be considered as the basis. According to the rules of Uttarakhand state, reserved category (SC/ST/OBC/PwD) candidates will get special relaxation in the maximum age limit as per rules.

Selection Process: Written examination will be of 200 marks.

Selection of eligible candidates for the posts of Nursing Officer is thorough. Written Exam Will be done on the basis of marks obtained in:

1.Written MCQ Test:3 hours time.

First of all the candidates will have to appear in an offline/online written examination of 200 marks. In this all questions will be multiple choice (MCQ) based. The examination will be conducted mainly at various examination centers in Dehradun, Srinagar, Haldwani and Rishikesh.

2.Document Verification:

Successful candidates appearing in the merit list of the written examination will have to appear before the Board for verification of their original educational documents, Nursing Council Registration and Caste/Reservation Certificates.

3.Medical Examination:

After correct verification of the documents, the health examination of the shortlisted candidates will be conducted by the Medical Board of the Government Hospitals, in which the final appointment letter will be issued only after they are found completely fit.

Candidates have to pay the following prescribed fee as per their category through online mode (Net Banking/Credit Card/UPI):

• General and Other Backward Classes (OBC): ₹300

• Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribe (ST) / EWS / Disabled (PwD): ₹150
