Ujjain: RFID mandatory for entry into Mahakal's Bhasma Aarti, unique arrangement by temple administration | News India

A crowd of devotees gathered to get a glimpse of Baba Mahakal. People started queuing up since morning to get a glimpse of Baba. A huge crowd of devotees gathers especially for Bhasma Aarti. Now special arrangements have been made for entry in Bhasma Aarti. Now it has been made mandatory to install radio frequency band for people entering for Bhasma Aarti.

Entry will be granted only after scanning

The temple management has come up with a unique way to prevent fraud in the name of entry into Bhasma Aarti at the famous Mahakal temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. The temple management has made arrangements that now no unauthorized person will be able to enter the Bhasma Aarti. Now the devotees participating in the Bhasma Aarti will have to wear a band on their hands. The band will be scanned at the temple gate and only after that they will be allowed to enter.

1600 devotees have been given entry

According to the temple management, currently about 1600 devotees are coming for Bhasma Aarti every day. Also, the crowd increases a lot during festivals. In such a situation, all these devotees will be given RFID before entering the Bhasma Aarti. Also, their biometric data will also be available. The special thing is that Baba Mahakal's Bhasma Aarti is performed every morning at 4 am. Everyone is eager to participate in this Aarti, although only 1600 devotees are allowed entry.

Now there will be no cheating in the name of admission

The important thing is that a fake entry scam for Bhasma Aarti had come to light. In which fake passes were given to devotees by charging 8 to 10 thousand rupees. However, after such incidents came to light, the temple management has alerted the devotees. Along with this, now such an arrangement has been made that only those devotees will be allowed entry who have RFID on their wrists.
