Ujjain: Mangalnath temple received income of more than 1 crore 66 lakh rupees in the last six months | News India

Ujjain, September 5 (HS). In the temple of Lord Mangalnath located in Ujjain, the city of world famous Jyotirlinga Lord Mahakaleshwar, in the last six months from April 2024 to August 2024, Bhaat pujan and other worships of all the devotees coming from the country and abroad were systematically performed with complete rituals by the learned Acharyas and Pandits of the temple. The temple has received an income of one crore 66 lakh 92 thousand 808 rupees in six months from government receipts and donation box from Bhaat pujan and other worships in Mangalnath temple.

The temple administrator KK Pathak gave this information on Thursday. He said that during the said period, there was a huge crowd of visitors at the Mangalnath temple. The temple committee staff provided the visitors with a smooth and systematic darshan. Along with this, it is also worth mentioning that the handicapped people visiting the temple were also taken by the temple committee staff and given a quick darshan from the exit gate. The above entire arrangement could be completed under the able leadership of Collector Neeraj Kumar Singh and the able guidance of ADI/President and Tehsildar Maho./Secretary Mangalnath Temple Management Committee.

Pathak said that the temple committee received an income of Rs 1,57,90,328 from the government receipts issued for Bhaat Pujan and other pujas during the said period. He also said that the temple management committee received an income of Rs 9,02,480 through the donation box installed by the temple committee. Thus, an income of Rs 1 crore, 66 lakh, 92 thousand 808 was received during the period from April 2024 to August 2024.
