Thousands of devotees come to bathe in Mokshadani Maa Shipra river every day. Kumbh Mela is also organized here every 12 years. Therefore, the faith of the devotees who go on a religious pilgrimage here increases even more. These days the water level of Shipra is high. Due to heavy rains in the city and surrounding areas of Ujjain district, the water level of Shipra river has increased again. Due to which the temples located at Ramghat were submerged in water. Shipra was seen half submerged during the Aarti.

Many temples of Ramghat have submerged due to the water of Shipra river. Many temples located at Ramghat including the Aarti gate of Shipra river have submerged. Due to the rising water level, no devotee is allowed to take bath in the river at present. SDRF and Home Guard teams are strictly preventing people from entering the river. People coming for worship are being made to worship away from the river.
