Police has made this disclosure on Tuesday in the case of suicide of brother and sister in Ujjain. Police told that father Sadiq was not sending help to the children while living in Kuwait, after this the mother supported both the children in committing suicide and kept their blood frozen in the fridge to show to the father.
This whole matter happened a day before Rang Panchami in Mohammadpura Bohra Bakhal, Ujjain, where two real brothers and sisters committed suicide inside their house. SP Pradeep Sharma said that on March 29, 2024, a sister and brother named Taher and Zahra committed suicide by cutting the vein of their hand at home in Jiwajiganj police station area. Jiwajiganj police started investigation considering the whole matter as suicide. During this time, a suicide note was also found from the incident site, which had the signatures of both the deceased brother and sister. In the suicide note, both of them had blamed their father Sadiq for the suicide. When the short post-mortem report came, it was revealed that both the brother and sister had consumed poison before cutting the vein of their hand.
Revealed after strict interrogation
While investigating, the police collected many evidences from the crime scene. After this, father Sadiq and mother Fatima of the brother and sister who had committed suicide were brought to the police station and interrogated. The entire matter could be revealed after strict interrogation. SP Pradeep Sharma told that Sadiq was living in Kuwait since 2003 and used to send very little money, and also used to come to India only once in many years. Whereas child Taher was less visible since childhood. He could not even be treated. Due to family circumstances, both Taher and Zahra were suffering from depression for a long time.
There were often fights between Sadiq and Fatima over the fact that he was not sending money, due to which the children were not able to get treatment. When Fatima put more pressure, Sadiq messaged on his mobile that 'I have less money, more debt… don't expect too much from me. After reading this message, all the hopes of Fatima, Tahir and Zahra were shattered. All three decided to commit suicide. The children wanted that mother Fatima should not commit suicide but should make their father realize his mistake when he returned.
Took poison, then cut his veins
Taher and Zahra first took sleeping pills and cut the veins of their hands, but when this did not kill them, they committed suicide by taking sulfas pills. In connection with the suicide of both the children, a case has been registered against the parents in the police station under sections 306, 305 of IPC. After this both have been arrested.
Kept blood in the fridge, wrote suicide note himself
After the message from their father, when Fatima, Zahra and Taher planned to commit suicide, by that time Fatima also wanted to commit suicide with them, but the children stopped her from doing so and said that when their father came, he would give blood to both the children. Show. Therefore, Fatima supported both the children in committing suicide and took their blood, filled it in polythene and kept it in the fridge, so that when Sadiq came, she could show it to him. Not only this, Fatima had also written the suicide note on behalf of both the children. Although this letter was signed by both the children.
