According to official sources and the latest updates of NTA, after the process of filing objections on the provisional answer key is over, the result link can be activated on the official website by the end of this week or in the early days of September. NTA’s final process on further objections to the provisional answer.
After the completion of the examinations for the June 2026 session, the National Examination Agency had released the provisional answer keys of 84 subjects and the response sheets of the candidates on August 16. Students were given time till August 18 to lodge their objections on the answer key. A special team of subject experts is now busy reviewing all these objections and challenges in detail. Only after this the final answer key will be prepared, on the basis of which the final results will be declared. NTA officials say that the results of 84 subjects for which the answer process has been completed are being released within the stipulated time limit so that the academic session of the students is not affected.
Re-exam of three major subjects and what effect it will have on the results
Meanwhile, NTA has also issued a separate update regarding the examinations of three subjects i.e. English, Commerce and Sociology. Due to technical errors and complaints in the question papers, re-exam of these three subjects has been announced, which will be held on 9th and 10th of September. However, NTA and the Education Ministry have made it clear that the re-examination of these three subjects will not have any impact on the results of the remaining 84 subjects. The results of those 84 subjects are likely to be declared this week as per the scheduled schedule, while the results of English, Commerce and Sociology will be released separately after re-test.
