Lok Sabha Elections 2024: With days left to count for the first phase of Lok Sabha Elections 2024, political parties are announcing their candidate lists one after the other. Earlier, parties including BJP and Congress had released six lists of candidates. Now Shiv Sena (UBT) has also announced the list of candidates.
Shiv Sena (UBT) announces list of 16 candidates
Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena (UBT) has released the list of 16 candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Sanjay Raut himself gave information about this list by tweeting. In this list, Uddhav's Shiv Sena has fielded its candidate from Congress's favorite Sangli seat. Chandrahar Patil has been given ticket from this Sangli seat.
Shiv Sena (UBT) has fielded these leaders
Shiv Sena has given ticket to Amol Kirtikar from where Congress leader Sanjay Nirupam was seeking ticket. Shiv Sena has fielded Narendra Khedkar from Buldhana, Arvind Sawant from South Mumbai, Sanjay Jadhav from Parbhani Lok Sabha seat, Sanjay Deshmukh from Yavatmal Washim, Chandrahar Patil from Sangli and Nagesh Patil from Hingoli seat. Apart from this, Chandrakant Khair from Sambhajinagar, Omraj Nimbalkar from Dharshiv seat, Bhaisaheb Waghchaure from Shirdi, Rajabhai Waje from Nashik, Anant Geete from Raigarh, Vinayak Rau from Sindhudurg Ratnagiri and Rajan Vichare from Thane have got tickets. Whereas, Sanjay Dina Patil from Mumbai East and Amol Kartikar from Mumbai West will be the party candidates.
