Shanghai Typhoon: China's economic capital Shanghai on Monday faced its most powerful typhoon in 75 years.Typhoon Bebinka (Typhoon Bebinka) made landfall in Lingang New City, the east coast region of Shanghai, at 7:30 am local time, China Meteorological Department reported.

Typhoon Babinka has caused widespread devastation around Shanghai. Thousands of investors have been evacuated from the Shanghai metropolitan area since the storm hit. All flights at the city's two main airports have been cancelled.

According to Chinese state media, Babinka is the most powerful typhoon to hit Shanghai in the last 75 years. Typhoons do not usually hit Shanghai, but they usually hit the southern part of China. The center speed of this storm was 151 km per hour. More than 4 lakh people have been evacuated to safe places.
