Ghaziabad, 15 December (Hindustan Reporter). Two thugs have been arrested for doing fake share trading through share trading website by joining WhatsApp group through Facebook and using the link from there. He had defrauded a person of Rs 23.45 lakh.
ADCP Sachchidanand told that two youths, resident of Rahul Nigam, Indirapuram Ghaziabad, cheated Rs 23.45 lakh through fake share trading through share trading website by connecting them to WhatsApp group through Facebook. The criminals created the fake website trade.quantum-capital.info for fake share trading. Deposited money in various bank accounts by luring them for share trading on this fake share trading app/website. When the victim Rahul Nigam tried to withdraw the money earned from these trading, when he could not withdraw the money, he came to know that cyber fraud had happened to him. Rahul Nigam registered a case of cyber crime at the police station on 7th November. On Sunday, during the investigation of the case and collection of evidence, the accused of the incident, Pradeep Yadav and Shubham Vashishtha, were arrested from the Kotwali area of Ghaziabad.
Pradeep Yadav told the police that he works as a milk seller. On the advice of his friend Shubham Vashishtha, he opened his bank account in Bank of India and gave the account to Shubham Vashishtha on commission. Shubham Vashishtha works for Ayush Tyagi and Vijay Sharma, residents of Ghaziabad. These people commit cyber crimes and withdraw money from the victim by transferring it to different accounts. Ayush Tyagi and Vijay Sharma have also opened an office for this work in Rajnagar Extension. These people are part of a big gang, who sit in foreign countries and create fake share trading apps/websites by showing videos on social media luring more profits, get people to download them and in the name of getting people do fake share trading, their money is diverted from various sources. Get deposited in bank accounts. Ayush Tyagi and Vijay Sharma are being searched, both of them have connections with criminals sitting abroad. A Samsung mobile phone of light blue color, an Apple iPhone mobile phone of dark blue color and a coded mobile app used for share trading fraud have been recovered from the possession of the accused.
