Two teenage girls jumped into Ganga from Chunar bridge, search continues

Mirzapur, 23 April (HIST). Two teenage girls jumped into the Ganga river from Chunar bridge at around 2 pm on Tuesday afternoon. He was identified from the bicycle found on the bridge and the Aadhar card kept in the bag. The search for both is ongoing.

This afternoon, Garima, 15 year old daughter of Satish Kumar, resident of Belwa Shahanshahpur, Rajatalab police station area of ​​Varanasi district, and Janaki, 16 year old daughter of Suresh Kumar, both from home, riding on the same bicycle, on the concrete bridge built on river Ganga in Mediya village of Chunar police station area. Reached the concrete bridge located in Media of Chunar. After parking their bicycles on the bridge, both of them jumped into the Ganga from the bridge, holding each other's hands. Both were 10th class students. Chunar police arrived on the information of passers-by and searched the bag kept on the bicycle and found Aadhar card and mobile number. The police informed the family. On receiving the information, the family members of both the girls reached the Pakka bridge crying and requested to search for their daughters.

The family told that there was a lot of love between the two girls. Both are students of class 10th. With the help of local divers, the police are searching for the girls by casting a net in the river.

Kotwal Chunar Narendra Kumar Singh told that two girls have jumped into the Ganga from the concrete bridge. They are being searched for by divers.
