Nawada, October 23 (HS) Under the leadership of Ajay Kumar, police station in-charge of Pakribarma in Vada district, the police conducted a raid on Wednesday, October 7 and withdrew money from Warsaliganj Union Bank from Ranjit Kumar, an employee of Pakrivarawan CSP director Mohammad Shakeel, Baliyari. Robbers Tabish Khan and Rahnuma Parveen, who were involved in looting Rs 4.30 lakh near a petrol pump, were arrested.
Of the looted amount, Rs 75,000 was also recovered from his house. A pistol and three live cartridges were also recovered from the robber's house. The pistol with which money was looted at threat. Nawada SP Abhinav Dhiman said that many more people involved in the robbery will be arrested soon. The motorcycle used in the robbery has also been seized. SP told that CSP operator Shakeel's cousin Sajid, his friend Tabish Khan, Rahnuma Parveen and his cousin Sonu, Sonu's friend Arshad and Viraj all together had carried out this robbery.
Rahnuma Parveen and Sajid had worked as liners. As soon as the CSP operator's employees were coming out of the bank to Pakribarama, they looted the money at gunpoint on the way. Due to the tireless efforts of police station in-charge Ajay Kumar and on the basis of scientific investigation, all the robbers have been detected. The robbers who were absconding due to fear of arrest will also be arrested soon. The accused arrested in this robbery case also confessed to their crime. The SP said that the police has set an example by taking prompt action.
